Dumplings
Dumplings (pierogi) are flour based dough wrapped around filling. Filling can be savoury or sweet but the most popular flavours I make are meat with vegetables, potatoes with onion and bacon or spinach with feta and ricotta. For many polish people that’s the dish which brings childhood memories as the best dumplings our Grandmas made! My recipes have been improved over the years trying to get the closest to this flavour. Pierogi have gained a lot of fans, also at England.
I freeze them straight after they are prepared so you can enjoy delicious dumplings any time you want at your house. Fried and crispy pierogi taste the best!
